80s were a special time for pop culture if you grew up in it, those that didnt just have no idea
Kenner was sure fun. I'm older so what I played with brings us back to 1969: Road Race Motormatic set and Zip Strip Racing set. I managed to get all 3 cars from the Zip Strip series, reassembling the original fleet. Magic !! These cars have a metal base and a plastic body. Congrats for your collection and passion, I enjoyed your video.

I have never been so damp lmfao!!!!!!
Homeroom!!!!! Lmao
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Keep this going!!! I will not react well if not lol
Hey Chris! I was happy to see this pop up in my feed! I just finished watching it, and I have to say that...my opinion...it is the best work you and your movie family have done. I think you nailed the look, feel and personality of the whole thing...and the acting really captured the era. Great job, man...looking forward to seeing more.
I'll be the judge of this 😅
The Family Ties family photo is classic. I wasnt expecting that. Hilarious
Would listen to true black and death metal with seavage over beers and 80's horror on the tv any time
It's already been said, but YOU and your health are the most important thing. Totally get (and respect) how you want to keep all the projects going. We are all here, patiently awaiting your triumphant return! :)
Hang in there man. Sending good vibes your way.
Take as much time for yourself as you need Seavage, your health and wellbeing are #1 priority
Keep getting better, Chris! I've been watching you for years and I feel like I kinda know you at this point. I've had two bouts with anxiety in my life...lasted a couple months each time. I tried meds, and they worked while I was on them, but it all came roaring back later. I hope the therapy helps you. And take care of your health first and the rest of the stuff will fall into place a lot more easily. I used melatonin gummies to help with sleep...they really do work!
Sucks to hear, been dealing with it for 23 years. You'll bounce back! Sometimes shit happens
After being pushed into taking an IV Drip (the stuff NFL & rich partyers take) -asked randomly if it would give me insomnia & was lied to -slept 0 1 night & 30min-2hours only from Nov25-Dec10. Was super manic with 0 appetite until end of Dec....can highly relate to the no sleep + anxiety part. I had to cancel ALL of December 2024. Sometimes when we won't stop & have neglected things our body needs, our body shuts down/goes nuts. Had to stop life almost entirely 2012 & most of 2013 after burnout from nonstop go. Since then, I monitor sleep-work-recovery-strength building very closely. I respect your work ethic! No shame in taking breaks....very necessary!!
A month off would be nice,I can't make excuses though. An IV drip only helps you it cannot hurt you
Stay strong my man💪Thank you sharing you situation. YOU ARE NOT ALONE‼️🖤
I appreciate that
Thank you
Hey man I know how it goes with the mental health just try and take care of yourself man. If you need any with future projects as well we can figure something out too. 🤙
Great to see you laughing on here again brother. Keep getting rest and finding the peace through all this. Always around for a chat bud! 🤘
Anxiety is the worst. Take care of yourself, Chris. Don't force yourself into situations that cause stress. Allow yourself space.
Great to see ya, man:) Miss ya bro;) Praying for ya, brother. I’m right there with ya, mental health is so important. 👊☺️
Hey Chris, do you ever do podcasts with other UA-camrs? I've got so many particular questions, so I figured I'd reach out. Thanks, man!
Awesome stuff man! 🔥🔥🔥
I saw a later SOV with a masked killer that lives in a trailer, He kills a blind girl and he kills the guy with a chainsaw that's electric and also not plugged in..any ideas? I have no clue what it was called
Great stuff I have been listening at work I hope you keep it going
Great show guys! I know Josh and he turned me on to these movies, great stuff!
Such a kick ass flick! Luv ya Nichole‼️
VERY nice setup, especially with the movie posters (Back to the Future, Ghostbusters and TMNT!) and action figures. I have the animated Doc and Marty. So cool! And I LOVE that message on the Parker Lewis poster! 😎♥️✌🏾
cool room 😎
Thanks for having me pals! 🫀🫀🫀
Great looking room
A 3rd opinion: When I heard "2 movies from 1984 with a common actor", I thought of Linda Hamilton in The Terminator (1984) & Children of the Corn (1984).
I had to go do a search to see what exactly was released in those two years. It's pretty nuts how many pop-cultural juggernauts were launched that I consider "must watch any time I see them on TV" in those two years. Ghostbusters, Terminator, Karate Kid, Nightmare on Elm Street, Neverending Story, Temple of Doom, Gremlins...and those are just the tops of 1984. My favorites of 1989 would be BTTF II, Dead Poets Society, Batman, Field of Dreams, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, The Last Crusade, The Abyss, The Little Mermaid (guilty pleasure...), Ghostbusters II, Glory, Bill and Ted and Christmas Vacation (which is still an annual Christmas tradition for our family). If I have to pick just one from each year, though: 1984 - Karate Kid, 1989 - Field of Dreams. Karate Kid just edges out Ghostbusters, Terminator and Gremlins. Field of Dreams was a pretty clear cut 1989 winner for me, though. And I don't really even like baseball. I've honestly never really thought of Field of Dreams as a baseball movie, though. Baseball is just a MacGuffin, in my opinion. It's a movie about getting a chance to fix something from your past. Either way, it's a great god damn movie!
Woohoo! Two awesome years and two awesome dudes:) 👊😎 -Dynamike Tiger
Absolutely awesome 👌 👏 💯💯💯
Nice I love 80s even though I’m 12
Love the Thundercats!!!
I only had Lion o but as an adult I collected the entire line but it surely is a love hate relationship as some of the vintage LJN is SUPER Pricey! Super 7 Is great and can hit the voids of missing figures or cheaper versions of expensive ones
Born in 2006 But dayum! The 80s looked extremely fun!
I couldn't mix toylines unless they were the same scale. So MOTU and Thundercats, I couldn't do. BUT Dick Tracy could chase Big Boy down into the sewer, bump into the Ninja Turtles and they could work together.
My first Thundercat figure was Gruul, the Destroyer. I remember we got it in the evening, and because the next day was my birthday I wasn't allowed to open it till the next day. I just sat and stared at it in it's packaging for hours.
Hahaha I think we all have felt that despair!!
I remember as a kid that "sticker Books" were huge growing up in Canada. I had the Thundercats Sticker Book and I remember buying packs of stickers, much like sports cards, hoping to complete my collection.
Oh man, if you're talking about the Panini Sticker Books, I had SO many of them for several different Cartoons and Movies! Loved those things.
Juicy collection. Thundercats are awesome. I use to have a bunch of the originals. Long gone. But still own the complete series on dvd 🙂 That mumm-ra is Juice
You can try to keep him hidden, but Bonejack is still coming out I see lol awesome figures too, nice detail
The original He-Man cartoon was probably my #1 favorite cartoon until Transformers came out. I loved the show...largely for Sorceress, lol. I never had any MOTU toys as a kid...I think my little brother had the Dragonwalker, Roton and a Battle Armor Skeletor, though. But that was it. I was not collecting toys when the Mattel Classics line was coming out (probably for the better, lol). But, I did pick up the A-list characters from the Origins line starting in 2020. I think the last figure I got was Mantenna. I know...he's not an A-lister, but, he's so ridiculous that I coudn't pass him up. In hindsight, I wish I would have known they were going to produce the Cartoon Collection...probably would have held out for those instead! Regardless, Origins has been a fun ride and an excellent way to update retro designs.
Those figures are incredible. Good stuff as always!
Thanks for watching, man!
Now you're talking my language! I dig cartoons and movies and everything, but action figures of those characters are my jam. And I have been especially happy with the S7 Thundercats. They are some of the best figures S7 have produced, IMO. Wilykit and Wilykat should be here tomorrow, and that will wrap up my cast of main characters (main TCats, Mumm-Ra, Slithe, Monkian and Jackalman). I ordered Ro-Bear Bill, but I don't think I'm going any deeper into them. I know I watched the dogshit out of the original cartoon as a kid, but, my old man brain has sadly decided to purge most of my memories of the specifics (as well as many of the lower tier characters). Still...it had just about the best 1980s cartoon intro in history. THAT part I remember. I also remember that I didn't own a single one of the toys as a kid, lol. Edit: And, I would have to say that my favorite S7 TCats figure I have is either Slithe or Monkian. They just plain nailed the characters in those sculpts. The did a great job on all of them, but those two in particular really stand out to me!
That Slithe figure is gonna taunt me. I should have made that one a priority. That secondary market is killing me with the prices on him.
I love my super7 collection but if one thing i would love is better face sculpts for lion o and pantro..the rest are perfect..
I’m cool with Panthro but have to agree on Lion-O
@@WarlockHVN ya agree pantro not as bad
I love SOV stuff and man I have a lot of stuff. With all the labels putting out now which is amazing and awesome. It’s a great time for physical media.
I was born in 73' so yeah MOTU was a lot of my life back then. Along with the wrestlers, and transformers. Mostly MOTU. This cartoon filmation MOTU line inspired me to start collecting them lol I have wave 1 and 2. So still need to get Evil Lyn, Webstor. I don't believe Clawful or Spikor has been released yet. Could be wrong. Haven't heard or seen anything about them being out yet.
I have zombie cop in the sov six pack jr put out years ago. My favorite is chickboxer lol.
You SOV Vigilantes have stolen my tender heart once again. Thank you for the dank SOV vittles
